West Coast Road Trip part 5: San Francisco

We visited San Francisco for a day and half. Way too short! Though we were really happy to visit our friends Ophelia and Heather. And of course another awesome playground complete with carousel. And our hotel was right across the street from a calm little beach. Pretty nice for the kiddos.

West Coast Road Trip part 4: Northern California

Northern California had lots of kitschy tourist stuff for kids, and some pretty unbelievable redwoods. We found a wonderful inn that looks like it hasn't changed much since the 1920s. We had fun exploring the nearly dry riverbed due to the drought.

West Coast Road Trip part 3: Oregon coast

After a couple of days in Seattle and Portland, we left to comforts and hospitality of friends and family for the great unknown. It was hard to believe, but each day the amazing sights and our kids' amazing sense of adventure were blowing us away.
