Spring, finally!

Last week we started our garden seedlings inside the house, and this week we plants the hardier seeds outside: peas, fava beans, kale, and mustard greens. Thankfully, we have two adept planting helpers to make the job more fun.

Newborn lambs!

We got an email from Drumlin farm last night that the first baby lambs had been born. So while Ben was at school up the road, Frankie and I went to meet them and see the other farm animals. Ben always enjoyed going to Drumlin when he was a smaller tot, but Frankie was completely smitten with the animals and was really angry when we had to leave.

Ben's school was cancelled on Friday so he and Frankie enjoyed some cartoons in the morning.

Pretty much everyday, Frankie does an excellent impersonation of me with a headache. This has become her sign language for "Dad".
